    Farmall M - simple timing question

    You have a 1st gear tractor that will work better with 13.6X38 to 14.9X38 tires weighted for 5500 to 6500 pound classes. Just my experience especially if you have a club with 15 to 20 tractors per class in the 5000 to 6500 classes. What do others think?

    Farmall H Gas Manifold

    The new universal manifold for a H - 350 is not that expensive and allows in my opinion a better flow since it is designed to accept even an M carb.

    Farmall M Clutch

    Had no travel left on a Super M. Replaced the clutch and still had problem adjusting. Found the wear on the cross shaft for the pedals and the pedal wear was too extreme. Had them rebuilt and then the new clutch worked great.

    Oil Pressure

    Had a problem with an M I purchased. I milled the lower plate at the bottom of the oil pump. There were grooves, very slight, worn in that plate from the meshing gears turning. Sometimes takes some experimenting to find it. The milling brought my oil pressure right back to normal.

    What automobile alternator can I obtain from a junk yard that will fit without modifying the hood on a H Farmall for my 12V conversion? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Farmall H or M generator question

    The lights work fine. I rewired them yesterday as well as a complete wiring harness. Still no change in the generator. Grounded the field on the generator and there was no change. Therefore, it must be a faulty generator or regulator. Correct?

    I know this topic has been covered many times. However, could someone just respond to me. I am helping my son this weekend with the 6V generator system on his H. We changed all the wires and still can not get the generator to charge. Ampmeter, polarity of the generator or what, I am baffled...

    farmall m - oil pressure - need answer please

    Bought a SM a couple of years ago with a M engine in it. Had no oil pressure at idle. I pulled the bottom off the oil pump and had it milled flat. About a 60 dollar cost and the oil pressure came back to normal. The gears in the oil pump sometimes wear into the bottom plate and does not allow...
