Anybody have any tips or tricks to get the nut loose on the shut off cable? -

Check fuel lines for trash in the line and also check the fuel tap from the tank. Had a similar situation on mine, had built up algae on the fuel tap screens and would only run when the tank was so full and had enough head pressure for the fuel to get through the screens. Radiator Leak
Best I could tell it was leaking from where the reservoir and radiator come together and had coolant pooling inside the little flange of the reservoir. I haven t thought about checking the hoses now that cold weather is here but I will. -

Radiator Leak
I haven t added any since changing a hose out back in the summer. And it has been ran hard a couple times since then but didn t notice anything out of the ordinary. It was just odd to me that it started dripping when it was cold just being pulled outside the shed. -

Not happy with Ford 3000 starting
Yeah that very well could be your issue. Mine would run ok ,would spit and sputter some, and would quit smoking just sitting with no load or anything. Then when placed under a load going up or down a hill it would quit unless the tank was completely full to get enough head pressure to force the... -

Clamp on pallet forks
It s a ford 3000 with a old Massey Ferguson loader made to fit the tractor. I doubt the forks would travel much as the bucket is actually a manure bucket with some more homemade modifications to make it a true bucket. I have some pics of the model number if anyone is interested in looking it up... -

Not happy with Ford 3000 starting
Sounds crazy but I had a similar situation. Had lots of slime gunk and trash in the tank that caused a restriction around the fuel tap screen. Flushed the tank several times and blew it out with a shop vac and solved most of my problems and doesn t smoke near as bad on startup and clears up... -

Has anyone used the clamp on style pallet forks? If so what s pros and cons of them. Or has anyone used the 3pt hitch style. Wanting them to move/hold logs for cutting wood this winter. I know they can t lift a whole lot but was thinking they might be useful for separating logs from the pile and... -

Thermostart reservoir line
Well my local NAPA had the pieces I needed to fix the homemade line grandpa had made for this line. So crisis averted. But if I ever need to fix again I ll take these suggestions! -

Thermostart reservoir line
The nut on the thermostart reservoir line on my 66 3000 cracked and busted while tightening it up. This model has the actual reservoir for the thermostart and not a T in the fuel line and also feeds the return to the tank. If I were to cap these lines off temporarily until I find a replacement...
