    Case Teratrac 600 Brakes

    I am looking for two shoe clips. The local brake shop does not have them. Any ideas are welcome.

    Hand Clutch

    I had the same problem. After removing some shims I still had that problem. Ended up checking the gap between the clutch plates and found it was not even. My Agco book says there shoud be .065 gap. I ended up removing one bolt to make it easier to remove the shims. Hope this helps.

    valve lash Adjusting

    I adjusted them with the motor running. Just slide in your feeler gage and adjust. It can be a little tricky but it works with good results.

    JD 350A Rake

    I am looking for replacement bearings that are in the front reel hub. The bearings are 1 1/4"ID 1 7/8"OD and 1 1/4 long. John Deere P/N AG892E

    C engine lacks power- partial redux

    Any auto parts store should have a spark tester for under $15. The plug wire clips to one end an the other goes to the plug. They are clear so you can see the spark.

    B Starting issues

    On mine it is hard to start when the manifold is hot. I use the touch test. If I can touch the manifold it should start. The other thing I do is choke for 2 or 3 revolutions and then no choke for 2 or 3. Hope this helps.

    I am having trouble finding new valve spring caps. Does anyone know if NAPA carries them? If so what is the part number. Thanks
