    Bushog driveshaft

    Is the bushog the rigid fixed hookup or the chain type that allows movement of the hookup? If the latter you may be able to adjust the top link of the 3pt so every thing fits.

    As Dell always sez, "It' yer weaksister ignition switch." Put a jumper wire across the switch to check that out anyway.

    The rod may be jammed. Try to pry it free with a long handle screwdriver.

    Looking at the manual I would say he is referring to the shaft that has the star nut that adjusts the shoes.

    Yes, it has an external regulator. If the wire burns again I will just recharge the battery every time I use the tractor. At some later date I will go to a one wire alternator. Thanks...Jim

    Re previous post about 8N 12V, cange points, josgged starter to seat cap. Plug wire caught under alt pulley. Took loose alt, had to jog again to free wire. Mentioned three wires from alt, one to bat one to reulator the middle wire looped over screwed to alt body on pulley. Put back together...

    It will be sometime before I get back out to the tractor plus take pictures and have my SIL show me how to send them. I will post when I get it all together. Thanks a lot...........Jim
