I have a running John Deere model 10 high density baler for sale. Baler is totally complete, has the central lubrication option--but to use this lubrication system-- the plastic linew will have to be replaced. There are several broken, and they are brittle. Baler runs smooth, baled a few bales a...

Massey Ferguson 1085 hydraulic filter canister

Update-Finally gave up being careful, managed to get able bodied grandson back over to the shop, armed him with the 36" pipe wrench and the impact with the 25mm socket-fired up the rosebud and raised the shop temperature a few degrees--and Presto!, the thing came loose! I just can't believe a...

Massey Ferguson 1085 hydraulic filter canister

Massey Ferguson 1085 cast hydraulic filter canister- Gentlemen- Does anyone have the magic open sesame words for the pesky cast iron hydraulic filter canister on a MF 1085? this is the big one under the cab--left side- by the rockshaft. Here's what we have done so far-- to no avail-- 1. A 25mm...

    seeking A/C opinions--

Well, Gentlemen--thanks for all your responses! At this point-- we're seriously leaning toward the kit. This tractor has, as is the case 98% of the rebuilds like this, has wound up costing more to get back into production that we budgeted. As one commentator mentioned, and rightfully so-this...

    seeking A/C opinions--

Yes, I am talking about the rooftop units with the electric condenser fans. This will be a hay mower tractor-- using a disc mower. Not much chaff, but sometimes lots of dirt. I do appreciate your comments. If I go the OEM re-do route-- it is with a modern axial compressor, evaporator, etc...

    seeking A/C opinions--

We just finished a Massey 1085 from the scrap heap--and are wondering what some of you guys think about the A/C in these tractors. The cab on this one is in really good condition--but since the tractor has beens etting for at...

    Case 630 LP

Yes, when I get it put together, I will! The sheet metal is off, hood, side panel, nose cone, grill, etc. They are all there, just not on the tractor. The gentleman that owned it passed away, I bought it from hos son-in-law. The gentleman was in the process of cleaning all the grease off...

    Case 630 LP

Well, I found one, and managed to trade it for filthy lucre. As for how many were built, I still have no clue! I checked with an old line JI CASE dealer in Kremlin, Oklahoma, has been a Case dealer since Methuselah was a pup. Their parts manager is older than I am (which is older than dirt)...

    Case 630 LP

OK! Thanks! I was just curious-- I have found one that is supposed to be Factory LP and couldn't find in tractor Data where Case had offered LP in the 630. Just wondering how scarce, (if they were scarce at all) Thanks!

Differences between Ford 6000 and 6000 Commander?

Too bad they were a mess! When I was growing up, our neighbor bought a brand spanking new '66 6000 LP. I usually chiseled his wheat ground right behind the combines, and that year was no exception. I crawled on that 6000 one evening-it had 3 hours on it, and spent the rest of that night...
