    5-3 Power Block in a '50 B

    If it is a pressed frame b with a straight 6 speed not the high/low twin stick it will fit. 5-3 power blocks where designed for the latest model b's and 50's. Just like with the A's I have an A and a 60 both have the 6-3 power blocks in them.

    H flywheel removal or adjustment for crankshaft end play

    When I set the end play on mine I just pulled the top cover off used a small pry bar on clutch side to push crank over easily not prying hard on it and slid flywheel up tight then tapped it back a little watching the end of the shaft where it and flywheel meet and watched how far it moved.

    50 51 52 that is the latest model A produced so that would be a late model A. Your looking at about 4.45-4.75 compression on an all-fuel and 5.60:1 on a gas model A not a big difference. Most aftermarket pistons are already made to give higher compression.

    This is the setup I made for our A. Its a little heavier than a lot of guys want but we pull 7500-9500 regularly and it will support it if it needs to. I can fit 8 100 pound weights on each side but that depends on the style weight you use. It is not attached to the hitch at all.

    Idk about the A but I was able to get them for our 50 and 530 thru Deere. Just dig up the part number if you can to make it easier. Our guys can't find anything from mid 70's or older I ask for the book when I walk in and find it myself.

    630 has good battery but wont turn over now

    My 530 was giving me issues a few years ago if I tapped the solenoid with hammer lightly it may go just hanging up. I ended up just changed it. Can still get it from Deere and takes maybe 30 minutes. Really easy.
