    530 oil leak

    Thanks for the advice, I have not seen it yet, might be a few weeks. MSB, at this point I am thinking of keeping it, but things change. Where are you located? How could I contact you if I would decide to sell it? Thanks to all who offered advice.

    530 oil leak

    Talking trade on a 530,owner says there is an oil leak between the transmission and diff. I have not seen a leak at this point on any JDs I have owned. Any idea what might cause a leak at this point. Thanks for any help. Does not sound like an easy fix.

    I have a Murphy water temp gage/switch which came on a 50A with a 6-3 Power Block. I replaced it with a regular gage. The Tractor is long gone, bad move, but I saw the gage/switch the other day.     Thanks for all the comments. Guess I will just start tightening and run it and watch it for a while. Maybe I should try the magnets, elininates all the tightening!!!!! .

    Thanks for the comments, but with the bolts on the inside of the flywheel it a little harder to get wrenches on the nuts. Thats why I was asking how to get them real tight. I changed one on my 52 AO but they were on the outside where I could get my torque wrench on them easy. Thanks

    I removed the flywheel to replace the cork washer. Had a little oil leaking. I was told the flywheel bolts should be torqued to 150 ftlb. My question is how can you get the torque set with the original flywheel wrench? The one I have is like the old tire wrenches, About 1/2 in rod with the ring...

    Buickand Deere-- What do you mean by a STAT? I have Autolite 3116 plugs and new solid core wires. Did complete tuneup all new items and all fluids changed. also using Sae 30 wt oil.
