    630 tachometer

    My suggestion is to box it all up and send it to Jerry Trickta. He does a great job. I just had one recently that I thought was simply a needle problem but he ended up replacing most of internal parts. They were much worse than I thought. Just my 2 cents.

    Jacobsen 626 snow blower electric start

    I ordered an electric start attachment. There was NO instructions in box. Pretty easy to figure out how to mount the starter drive but where do you normally mount the push button? It only has a short lead from button to starter drive so can't be too far away. Do you just attach it to flywheel...

    Did your tach need a new face plate decal or can they refurbish the original?

    I have heard someone is reproducing the face decals for tachs. Anybody know who or how to contact them? I am going to send my tach to Jerry for rebuild but he said he did not have decals or face plates. Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks. I will give Jerry a call. I was just checking to see if anyone had tackled one themselves. I bought a replacement thru an advertiser but it had a very poor face plate, much worse than in there.

    Has anyone taken apart one of these tachs to repair or do you just send them in? Mine looks really good but for some reason no pointer needle. Have no idea where it could have gone. That way at purchase time. It appears that a tiny nut inside will loosen and release pointer shaft but seems to...

    Has anyone successfully taken apart a tach? If yes, how did you do it? I have one in tractor that looks great but there is no pointer or indicator?? Do not see how it could possibly get out of housing. Can a person get a new pointer and put in? I do see the face has 2 small screws holding face...

    John Deere 322 charging system

    Thank you. It is a 3 cylinder, either a Yanmar or Kawasaki I believe. I suppose it could be dusty and dirty connections because it was really dirty chopping and bagging leaves and worked fine for several hours.

    I have the above mentioned snow blower that works great but is pull start. I recently had open heart surgery and can not pull the rope hard enough. How hard is it to put on an electric start kit and what about pricing? Is it worth it? Thanks

    John Deere 322 charging system

    I have a JD 322 that I really enjoy. Right at the end of leaf collection season my battery charge light came on. Eventually of course when I shut it off to empty bags it would not start. After charging it up it will start and work of course but light is still on and now electric mower clutch...
