Has anyone taken apart one of these tachs to repair or do you just send them in? Mine looks really good but for some reason no pointer needle. Have no idea where it could have gone. That way at purchase time. It appears that a tiny nut inside will loosen and release pointer shaft but seems to have a tiny spring or fine wire wrapped around the shaft just behind face plate. Any ideas?
