    hydraulic lift goes up but wont come down

    I have replaced the hydraulic lift piston but when it goes up it wont drop back down. Any thoughts??

    does anyone know where Larry Frey's old built up deere's got to once he passed a few years ago? I heard some went south at the sale while some stayed here in PA... supposedly he had an A pushing 125 and a G well over 150 hp. doesn't sound far fetched these days but sounds good to me for tractors...

Getting a new head and manifold, and took the block to 6.125...my question then being: what all carb adjustments should I be ready to look into once I bolt it back together?? assuming that it won't run like it did before...
