    6 or 12 volt on 48 D

    My neighbor Lady has a 48 "D" that was her brothers tractor. I have been trying to help her get it running. It has 2 batteries connected as was common. Is that a 12 v or 6 v system? Did the 2 make 12 v or only 6v for more cranking power for the "D"? Any help appreciated. Thanks

    45 B locked in gear

    My old reliable 45 "B" my Father bought new is now locked in 1st. My Grandson was driving it , don't know what happened or how.
