    i have a 50 8n at one time it had a proof meter. somewhere in its life someone changed out the governor to one without a connection for the proof meter. would like to return this but governors are high and this one works great. any ideas??

    decided to go ahead with full rebuild on my 8n.have taken it down to oil pan removal and it pretty straight forward now any tricks for complete removal of engine? yes i have a manual but this forum gives some really good advise and tips thanks
