    Thank you. I too believe mine are rusted right together. I am going to have to press them off. I bet that could not have smelled good with that old burned rubber. I will try that.

    Is this a joke? I tried to replace the rubber springs on my seat today and about had a temper tantrum. Its a super 88. How in the world is one to do this? Is there some grinding of welds or torching of anything? Please enlighten me, I feel dumb. Jeff

    3 or 4 bottom

    I have a super 88 diesel and would love to get a plow for it. Will it pull a 4 bottom plow very well or should I try and get a 3 bottom? I used a ford workmaster 641 with a 2 bottom 3 point plow and it did pretty well. So my thinking is my tractor should be able to pull a 4 bottom pretty well...

    Ammeter hook up

    I bought a new oliver ammeter (ebay) and it has a + and - on the back. Hooked the + from the alternator and the - went to the battery. Shows a discharge. Does this mean that its hooked up backwards? Sound like a dumb question but that is not how my other one was hooked up. It is a new alternator...

    Alternator

    I do have 12.6 volts to the filter plug. I have the wire from the alternator terminal going into one side of the ammeter and the other side goes to the battery. I shows no load at all. I do not have anything of the rectifier plug. It is a Delco Remy 62 amp.

    Can someone possibly tell me why my alternator on my super 88 is not working? It has a 12 volt system. I have a 12 volt supply going to the filter side prong and the battery terminal is going to the battery post. The alternator is not putting out 12-14 volts while running. It puts out zereo to...

    Just picked up a 3 point for my Super 88. Thank you Brain. I was wondering what kind of fluid to put in it. The book says SAE 10w moter oil. Is this right?

    The serial number on my tag to me does not make sense. Serial # is 17 809-801 Specification # is 18-0173 This is super 88 diesel. Does this make any sense to you all?
