    What do you know or think about a smog pump blower on an N series engine? I know they have been installed on briggs engines. I remember something about a 454 big block smog pump being used. Hope I didn't just dream all this up one night.

    Ken, 6" back blade is max for the N's. Be sure you get a reversible type blade so you can pile the snow up when cleaning the yard. If you're going to be moving a lot of snow, consider filling the rear tires with fluid for weight and buying rear tire chains. The backblades that are affordable...

    Not only possible but, way cheaper than buying new ones. Most salvage chains you'll find are too wide. To shorten them up I bolted each cross together and they stay above the tire treads really good. I used carriage bolts and nyloc nuts so each end is rounded. Country auctions are another source...

    backblades

    Got a 6 footer on my 2n. With the sway bars on I lower it to within an inch or so of the groud and I can rotate it. If you're thinkin about plowing snow with it some type of skid shoe system helps alot
