601 distributor problem
Thanks. Pulled pan today. Gear at head of camshaft broke off. From Bob's reply, I guess the hyd pump is locked up. I was in the process of raising the lift when the pop happened and it shut down.- Jerry Duncan

Bought a Ford 601 today. $800.00. Cranked after I got it home. Heard what sounded like a pop in the engine. Shut off. Won't fire. Rotor will not move when engine turned over. Suggestions?- Jerry Duncan
