    U Diesel

    GBD battery

    The GBD had three of the lower height batteries originally. On my GBD I bought a large twelve volt battery that takes up the same amount of room as two of the three original batteries. I positioned it to the outside of the battery tray and clearance is not a problem. I believe it cost around...

    UTI with cab

    This is before we moved here but Loll was a MM dealership as I understand it. We have a UTIL at Rollag which had a cab on it. I have never seen the cab but understand that it was factory.

    444 gas Fuel usage

    The Nebraska test of the 44 Special, which has the same engine as the 444 shows fuel consumtion under full load at 4.302 GPH. At rated load it shows 3.630 GPH. We plowed with our 444 and a 3 bottom plow in very heavy ground last fall and I would have to say those figures are about right

    MM Plow Drill Questions

    A 10-6 should be 10 runs spaced 6" apart. Goes behing a 4-14 plow. These were most likely made in the 40's and 50's as that is when we used them a lot in ND where I came from.     Pic- Unusual SP Swather

    I believe we have a Hitterdal swather like that at Western Minnesota Steam Threshers at Rollag, Minnesota which is not far from Hitterdal where they were made. It is restored and shedded.
