UTI with cab

This is a 1945 UTI with forklift style loader, (not shown), is has what I think is a home made cab. The cab has a sticker attached that says Ed Loll & Sons, Wahpeton N. Dak. Did Ed Loll build cabs or was this a MM dealership. Any comment are appreciated.

This is before we moved here but Loll was a MM dealership as I understand it. We have a UTIL at Rollag which had a cab on it. I have never seen the cab but understand that it was factory.

I know that cab. The name escapes me at the moment, but it was an aftermarket cab built in Pender Neb.

You are right!! Before I came on line tonight my brain engaged and I remembered it was
Automatic Mfg Co. at Pender NB.

Automatic Equipment Manufactureing supplied aftermarket universal cabs to dealers. They were made in pender NE. the company is still in busness but no longer make cabs. I have an identical on on a Allis Chalmers WD45. the Serial number is on a plate attached by the top left side on the rear door.
