What implements for hay are you guys using for higher volume?

Would that be a kicker attachment? I've got a new holland 275 baler. Wagons would have to be modified to catch the bales As for unloading, there's not really a great setup here anymore for that. The bales have to be tossed off by hand, and sometimes carried into an empty stall, or thrown into...

What implements for hay are you guys using for higher volume?

I can't tell you how many bales per day on average, I usually cut based on how the weather is. Based on last year, the forecast was never accurate and I had fields rained on more than once, the quality really suffered. With that said, the struggle is usually beating the weather. So sometimes I...

What implements for hay are you guys using for higher volume?

We're not going to do a lot, maybe 2000-5000 per year. Stored in barns/stalls in a barn. Also in a hay loft using a conveyor. Main issue is getting out of the field quickly and out of the rain with limited help. A better way to put it, we're looking to just speed things up. Budget is gonna...

What implements for hay are you guys using for higher volume?

Looking to scale up on hay a bit. Are you guys using those wagons that pick the bales up, or one of those front end buckets? or a kick baler? Right now I just use a standard small square baler, stack it all by hand. Looking to try to speed it up so we can do more volume. We'd still be doing...

IH 574 Gas - Score on cylinder wall, any idea if its fixable

Thought it was a blown head gasket, coolant got into the oil. There's this notch/score on one of the cylinder walls. Anyone have any advice?

Help troubleshooting my 574 Gas Engine

Originally thought it was a blown head gasket. Took engine apart, old gasket seems in tact with no visible damage. Thought it was the head gasket because coolant was leaking into the oil and there was heavy smoke. What's the next step? We didn't go any further yet.

Looking for info on bolt order for international 574 engine

We're replacing the head gasket on an IH 574 gas engine and the manual I was sent that I ordered seems to have been the wrong one. All we need is the bolt order and torque info I suppose. Does anyone have a scan of the correct manual or know the information? Thanks

IH 574 Gas - Blown Head Gasket Advice

I'm pretty sure my IH 574 blew a head gasket, lots of coolant in the tank with heavy white smoke from the exhaust. Not seeing any leaks anywhere but perhaps a cracked head. My question is whether or not to attempt this with a friend that's got some mechanical knowledge. I've never done it so...

Replacing O-Ring on Steering Column IH 547

I'm glad I asked, I'm very new to this. Do you suggest this is something to attempt? The tractor is usable and it doesn't always happen. My neighbor is very knowledgable and would help but it comes down to having the tools and the time without a tractor, I don't know what to expect...

Replacing O-Ring on Steering Column IH 547

Oil seeps out of the steering column and down the dash on my IH 574 gas. It was theorized here that it may be the seal. Looking at the diagram shows an o-ring that may be easily replaced. If it's pumping oil, it wouldn't be the pump right? What's the difficulty in replacing the o-ring? A new...
