New Holland 275 Baler Timing

Anyone know how to do the timing on a NH 275? I only found one vague video on youtube so far

You don't want to try to do that from a few lines of instruction from here or from a youtube video.

The NH271 I have has the timing instruction inside the twine box on a decal. If your does not then get a manual from NH and be done with it since it will tell you how to time it plus many other things you need to know how to do

Just get all the timing marks lined up. If you have to ask,you need a book.

Its pretty easy.....#1. Plunger arm must be pointing absoltley straight up (up as in towards the heavens). You should be able to eyeball this although there are marks
stamped on the casing but many times they are not visible. #2 push the needles all the back as far as you can. #3 last item- on the knotter clutch there are timing marks
to match up. My baler has 3 dots punched on it. Line these up. You will need to remove the knotter drive chain to do this, and then reinstall it. Do those 3 steps.
