Speaking of dist. clips
I lost one and ask them how important it was. Several mechanics told me that it was to stablize the rotor button and with out it could mess up your timing. The clip cost me about $8.00+ of which I had to also buy the rotor button. -

Tire repair
Is there a way to repair a crack or cut in your back tires on the tread? Is there a kit available? As always thanks for the info! Jim-NC -

OT. Removing Barb Wire Fence
I agree with "old" I tried this one time and when I finished I looked like I had a fight with a Bobcat(and lost). In addition this stuff would hang on a cloud. It just isn't worth the effort in my opinion. Jim-NC -

850 Oil filter leaks
I just changed mine on my 850 and used that same PH8A filter mine works fine. I assume you put some oil on your finger and put it on the seal before tighting it. I know with me it's the little things I miss. Good luck! Jim-NC -

Distributor Rotor Spring Clip
Kirk, I lost mine not long ago and a mechanic friend of mine wrapped it with paper until I could get one. Not the best way to do things but it worked great for the time . Jim -

Rain soaked
It rained hard all night in the vertical exhaust pipe of my 850 what do I need to do? Is this water a bad problem and if so how do I solve it? The rest of the tractor was covered. Help, I have put too much work into this already to be set back. Thanks! Jim
