    F gleaner Hydraulics

    I have had gleaners for several years and i do have a manual for the f gleaner. when i tried to make the adjustments with the set screw on the header hydraulic control valve nothing changes. the header still drops like its in free fall. could air in the system cause this? thank you for your help.

    i will not use b5 or b20 in my tractors, when i used the fuel it clogged up the filters and left a mess in side the fuel tanks. maybe you can get by using it if you run it totally out of the tank before you park it. i let my tractors set all winter with the bio fuel in them and in the spring it...

    i recently rebuilt my 1086 using all the great advice from this web site, i had never re-built a engine before, it runs great. it sounds like your sleeves are bad and you need to to put a re-build kit in.

    it is a early 3020,power shift and the hyd control was added by the john deere dealer when i purchased the loader from them. the loader worked fine for two years. thanks for all your help.

    after all those years the oil will turn white, change the oil again and you should be fine.

    i recently had the same problem with a 1086, i took the oil pan off and you can look up at the sleeves and see where the leak is. jim7
