    Intro post

Hi a photo I had taken at a fair that had some antique tractors, see the two head lights on M. My Uncles M had the rear light down behind seat where the red arrow is. This position of the rear light may have been a mod by my uncle as he used the tractor in the woods and a rear light like the one...

    Intro post

Welcome to YT, really good looking M, my uncle farmed with a 1950 M, it looked similar to your M but had two head lights a tail light mounted under the back of the seat. In my youth I spent a lot of time driving the M, mowing and raking hay, plowing and hauling wagons.

Case-IH 2200 Loader Hydraulic Relief Valve Shims D25844

Good to hear that you have plenty of weight on your rears. Dad also had calcium loaded tires and if he was doing heavy lifting with the loader he would put a 3PT cultivator on the 3PT. My brother has a CIH 3230 with CIH 2250 Quick-Attach loader, rears loaded and he usually used a 3PT blade on...

Case-IH 2200 Loader Hydraulic Relief Valve Shims D25844

Back in the late 1960s early in 1970s, Dad had an IH 434 with IH 1501 loader and neighbor had the same tractor loader setup. Neighbor had a tandem log truck but no log loader on the truck but used his 434 and loader to load logs on the log truck. One day Dad had a load of oak and maple logs and...

Case-IH 2200 Loader Hydraulic Relief Valve Shims D25844

Here in Canada, our local IH Mechanic at the time said just use a Canadian Dime (10 cent coin) as a shim behind relief valve on IH 1550, 1850 and 2250 loader control valves.

    "New" B-275

His B-275 has the older CAV inline pump like the B-250 and the part that is leaking is the feed pump and the hand primer. Usually they leaked around the hand primer but his appears to be leaking around the inlet. Later B-275's had the rotary CAV pumps. One thing I forgot to mention was to make...

International b414 hydralic oil coming out of filler neck

I see you have a late model B414 as it has the hydraulic drain plug at the bottom of reservoir below the filler hole. I see you have the common setup for loader with the return back to the filler hole which makes it even more difficult to determine the Hydraulic reservoir oil level. With cold...

    "New" B-275

Could be causing excess back pressure on the input side of the feed pump or the valves inside the feed pump are not opening and closing properly. See photo below of similar feed pump but there is a sediment bowl on the bottom right of feed pump. See top left of page on the feed pump action...

International b414 hydralic oil coming out of filler neck

Is the filler hole behind the seat on top of the hydraulic reservoir or another auxiliary hydraulic tank? If it is the filler plug behind the seat, the hydraulic reservoir is over full or there is air in the hydraulic system. One of the problems with these IH Bradford, UK built tractors is they...

    International 584 wheel hub sleeve…

After close examination I think you are correct, I had notice the two slots like bar rear axle key slots and assumed it was rear axle hub looks too small.

    International 584 wheel hub sleeve…

We did a CIH 495 not bar axle, outer axle bearing a few years ago. We found one of third party repair manuals had the diagram wrong for the placement of the wear sleeve, see correct placement in photo below. Your 584 has the bar axle so the placement is the same, you just don't have to take the...
