    you can rent a valve spring tool at an auto parts store ,but you might want to use an air compressor to put air in the spark plug hole to keep the valve from dropping i think you can use a copression tester with the right fitting unless you removed the head from the block if so disreguard last...

    does it matter which rebuild kit i get for this tsx33 or tsx241 a,b,c only difference i can tell is one says 9n and other says 8n, motor is an 1948 8n top lip on carb is 120x ?? thanks for input
