    airplane partnership

I know there are lots of partnerships like you are suggesting. Most seem to work out well. It would pay to spend some time getting to know prospects and ask around about them. The community is pretty small actually. The big thing is like has been said to be prepared to buy the other person out...

    craigslist-selling a tractor

I've sold lots of things on CL so far. I would say at least a third of those things went at least 1 or 2 states away. Have bought from as far away as alaska. You can do a search and it will pull item you want from all over country. I have bought several things at least 1000 miles away and had...

    Land Values

Myself I would buy it. You can choose your own neigbors that way. You might rent house out for decent money and pay the whole thing or at least part that way. My experience is that land usually only comes up for sale maybe once in your lifetime that joins your land. In Nebraska that would be...

Stuck engine on John Deere 530

I soaked for a day with the marvel mystery oil. Then tonight I tried the deal with the chain thru hole in flywheel with long crowbar. Had a friend over and he ran the crowbar. I took off valve cover and checked to make sure valves were working. Got it to move about 2 inches and just kept...

Stuck engine on John Deere 530

That chain idea is good. I tried using bar stock and that didn't work very good. I think it is worst possible position. I supect it is in top dead center position or close. Exhaust valve is open on right side piston. I suspect it to be culprit

Stuck engine on John Deere 530

I was wondering if anyone had any good advice on getting engine unstuck other than taking block off. I started soaking yesterday with Marvel mystery oil. I put pry bar on teeth of Flywheel but not really liking that idea much as don't want to have to replace the ring gear. I was kinda hoping...

Think I found my new tractor....

Dave Looks good. Hopefully won't go to high with nine days to go. Really clean. Looks like his Dad took good care of it. Hope it works out. If you can just get your neighbor to take the old one now. Alles Gute!

    cat 65 challenger

I have a 65e and a 75e. They are not bad horses. I use my pulling scrapers and I don"t think they ride that rough. I know they are beter than Deere. They have floating bogies and Air ride seats. I actually would like to sell mine as I"m not using much anymore. They use about 100 gallons of fuel...

Looking at a 4520 this weekend

I've had two of them. One with a cab a and one without. I liked the one better without cab in summer and one with cab in winter! Never had any trouble with either tractor. You can't buy much for 6000. I wouldn't hesitate if I had the need for it. Good chance by now it has the 4620 engine in...

    rear wheels on 530

Okay started looking at the 530 today to kind of see where to start and noticed it did have 12.4 x 36 inch tires. My question is can I find tires to replace these or should I convert to 38 inch rims. If so what do I need to make the change. Thanks

draining a wet spot in field

I have a company that does tiling and we do this all the time. I would just call your local contractor and he will take care of all of it. We would charge between 350 to 500 for doing this depending on what it looks like. We do these all the time. It is better to have someone who does this for...

    Case VAC

I'm no expert on this but if your talking of housing between engine and transmission it has oil in it. I think mine holds six gallons? Was thinking thats the hydralic oil tank. If its not bad i wouldn't worry about it

    Shop Floor

I used a sealer on mine right after it was poured and it is amazing how much it keeps oil from soaking in. I use a floor cleaning machine on it every couple days and it is as clean as a dance hall. Mine isn't the way to go however as to keep in condition like I would like it I would have to...
