    Yes, I’m aware of that. I’m asking does anyone know based on what you see, what model ford it is 9n. And year. That way I can get the right carb. The linkage and spring throttle work. But not when hooked up to this carb.

    Yes this is the same one I posted about the starting issues. And it says Massey Ferguson on the front of the hood and on the info plate by steering wheel. I couldn t find the year on it and based on what I found I guessed what the year was only

    How much should I list a 1958-1960 Massey Ferguson for. I got it to run, and it runs great. New battery, starter, voltage regulator, starter button. It s 4 speed, hydraulics work and shift lever start. This post was edited by joejoe31 on 10/07/2022 at 10:50 am.

    I replaced the starter and that solved that problem. Now Im just trying to get it to start. It trys to but wont fully kick over. Already cleaned the carb out and did gasket set.

    Before I replaced all the items I put the new battery in, and it slowly turned over then stopped.

    It must be bad. The starter gear spins free when I move it with my finger. But will just arc when try and jump it.
