    Massey Harris antique plow serial #2247 needs hitch

    I just purchased a Massey Harris 3 bottom plow (serial number 2247) but it is missing the hitch hook up (See photos). Does anyone have this plow and would be able to measure the dimensions of the hitch parts so I could cut and drill a hitch? It doesn’t look that complicated. Thanks for any help...

    Thanks for all of the information you guys. I went through the adjustments in the manual and the wiper arm was definitely not correctly adjusted so I bent it a bit and now it’s good. The tucker finger on the problem knotter was also out of adjustment so I fixed that as well. Hopefully that fixes...

    John Deere 24t needle home position.

    Sorry to keep bugging you but just wondering the needle frame adjustment says it should be done with the needles fully raised and then the needle frame should clear the main frame by half inch to 3/4 of an inch. Where is that measurement made?
