    Ford 961 clutch problems

    Ok I assume that the fixture is for compressing the springs and centering the disks, how dus that aid in clutch ajustment. all I can see that you need is a 7/16 wrench and a good ruler??

    I had no problem getting the tractor back together, actuly is was way easyer than it should have been, yes the pins are in the back corectly, and yes I have ajusted the fingers on the pressure plate

    I would also like to point out that the tractors clutch would not relese befor I tore it apart, even though the disk was worn down past the rivets

    the problem is in the drive clutch, the pto works fine, like I said I have some know how and a lot of time

    Ok I know all you guys know alot about fords so here go"s. I am working on a 961 ford with the 2 stage clutch. the clutch will not disingage the pto works fine. ok so I tore this thing all apart, and found nothing wrong except the drive clutch was worn down, so I replaced that put it all back...

    Winch size

    I haul crap out of the weeds all the time, you can never have to big of a winch!! the electric ones suck, I agree with the wrecker winch. there cap. is way under rated, because they are used to lift cars and trucks off the ground

    dodge trucks

    I have 5 dodge cummins trucks, a 1993 with 925,000 miles on it it has had one trany, this truck never moves without a trailer hooked to it. like some of the other guys said, any truck will last a long time if you take care of it. But I wont have anything but a dodge!
