Trust me, you don't have to be young to be stupid, I do just fine in that department daily.

    radiator overflow

I have an 860. When I fill the radiator all the way, it will overflow until the fluid is just above the core. It runs well and will do work. Am curious why this is happening.

    860 radiator drip

My 860 radiator is acting strange. This spring it leaked out all the fluid (water and antifreeze) by a slight drip. Could not see where it was dripping. I filled it with water. No, drip. Drove it for maybe an hour brush cutting. No drip. After second time I drove it, there was the drip...

    860 gas problem

I think the sediment bowl connected to the carburetor is the way to go. The one I see sold at this site does not have a turn off knob. That seems like a good idea. I do have a turn off valve but think having the filter and turn off all in one would be nice. Given all the help I have...

    860 gas problem

I have been told that about the rubber hose but thanks for the reminder. Could I attach the sediment bowl right at the carburetor? This seems like the easiest option.

    860 gas problem

As usual, the help here has been outstanding. I also have a non oem tank. As I noted there is a rubber hose from the gas tank to the carburetor with a turn off valve and the gas filter in the line. Looking at the picture of the sediment bowl I am not sure how to attach the rubber hose to it...

    860 gas problem

What happens is that gas is not flowing into the filter. If I wait a while there is flow but slow. The suggestion of a sediment bowl and screen because of gravity may be the answer. There is a rubber tube from the gas tank to the carburetor with a turn off valve and then the gas filter in the...

    860 gas problem

I am willing to replace the condensor inside the distributor. What I see is no gas flowing into the gas filter. Not sure how replacing the condensor will fix. Sorry if I was not clear enough in my original post/question.

    860 gas problem

My 860 will run for a while and then cut out. If I pull the out choke briefly I can sometimes keep it running. I have drained the tank and taken the gas line off. I blew air into the tank to see if that was obstructed. I have a new gas filter on it. I did have a small obstruction in the...

    860 gas tank

Thank each of you. This has been very helpful. I will look tomorrow (it is at a different place) but am sure I will be able to fix it now.

    860 gas tank

A friend put my gas tank in and it is on a slant. I have looked all over the web for pictures. My maintenance manual doesn't have one. Does anyone have a picture of a 860 gas tank installed with the tin off so that I can see it?
