    4400/4500 bolster removal

Very nice! Almost exactly what I want to do. I need to either switch the front axles or rebuild the 4500 axle. The king pins are seized and again, I don't know how to remove them.

    4400/4500 bolster removal

I've measured everything and yes, I need to swap the radiator frame also which is why I need to swap bolsters. The 4500 radiator frame does not mount to the 4400 bolster. The loader attached to mounting spots on the engine and the rear axle. Everything matches perfectly for sizes. No backhoe is...

    4400/4500 bolster removal

Hey everybody, I'm very new to working on tractors. I have both a 1970s 4400 and 4500. I'm trying to move the loader from the 4500 to the 4400. In order to do that, I need to swap the bolsters. What I need help with is how to remove the pivot pin connecting the bolster to the front end. It may...

Ford 4500 cab and loader removal

I need advice on how to remove the cab and loader from my 1970 4500. I've read in places that the pins should be driven from the inside toward the outside. This confuses me because the cab post is on the outside of the loader loader arm and to remove the cab, I would need to also remove the...

    IH 383, worth it?

Yes, the one I am looking at is from Japan with the Nissan motor. There is some documentation that it may have been at an Ag show in 1981 in Iowa. I don't know where to look for a current value though

    IH 383, worth it?

I'm looking at an IH 383 2WD. It is in good shape as far as I know, the previous owner, my late uncle, took good care of it treated it like a show tractor. After sitting dormant for 3 years, it started right up and sounded great. I have no idea what thee tractor is worth or if parts are readily...
