    jubilee with no spark from coil...igntion switch is good...

    I pulled the distributor and cleaned and regapped points, checked all connections and she fired up... Thanks for all the HELP !!! much appreciated.. I was starting backwards from the coil ...I read the replies and did as instructed and she's purring like a kitten.. time to go do some finshing...

    Hi. I never checked points as I was starting from the beginning and I figured with no spark at the coil I had already found a problem without even getting to the distributor. I was going to check that next once I got spark at the out of the coil.

    Hi. I ride a 2001 cr 250 and have done sevral MX clutches and I would guess you could pull them apart and find your problem. Could be so old the plates all seized together. Remove the springs and plates and clean up really good and inspect... might be just time for new springs, and plates...

    Hi. the reason you could use an engine lift is because its really awkward to lift out. Most of these guys here are as old as these N's ( no offence guys...hehe) and they can be hard to lift out. i bet its at least 80 lbs but awkward and big to lift with no room... Hell, i'm 33 and I found it...

    No spark

    I had a similar problem last month and it turned out to be a shorted ground wire from the distributor to the block, i cut this wire out and replace it as suggested by Dunk and I eventually got it going... although i had a whole world of issues at that time and these guys here ALL helped me...

    John Deere 240 lawn tractor . After a lengthy trip to the JD dealer I got a new belt. Put the belt on and cut for hours... no problems, no thrown belt. YAAA!!!! Dealer said all he could think was a bad belt from the start or weakened belt from slipping off so much. the belt was in good...

    i have a cheap one too and for basic 8N use that you will come across it works perfect. yes, it is cheap and not shop quality but, it does the job and keeps me able to do more jobs at home... We have " Princess Auto" in canada which sells cheaper shop tools from China but its all the average...
