For sale Oliver 66 Hydralectric Series I

I have a good used series 1 hydralectric unit that came off a 1952 Oliver 66. It worked well using side levers that I made for it. It has the electric solenids in it but I only used it manually. Interested in trades...these don't come up for sale often so not sure on value. Located in CT...

    M generator problems

Hello, I had this same problem on my 39 M. It has a newly rebuilt generator and NOS cut out. The guy who rebuilt the generator told me that grounding is very important with this system. I pulled the brackets off back to the head and cleaned them to bare metal as well as the mounting tabs of...

Did some plowing with the 66 Diesel

Mine plowed much better after it shined up a bit. Plowed in 2nd or 1st depending on who was in front of me and their speed. Never tried third...2nd would give a good snort on some hills and tough spots

    H4 Magneto question

Yes...found a crack in the cover. So I checked the points, set the timing, adjusted the valves and cleaned the carburetor. The tractor starts right up but has a sputter to it that cleans up under load. [video...

    H4 Magneto question

I was checking the timing on my 39 M today and when I rotated the mag toward me to trip at the timing mark it zapped the living heck out of me! I think it was through the screws that hold the coil cover on...not sure though. What would cause that?

    Going to look at a 39 M

Pulled the valve cover yesterday...has the original 6336DC head. Also appears to have flattop pistons. Compression test showed 95 psi in all 4 cylinders.
