I was wondering how to go about checking the start timing on my 49 A. It is still starting hard with good spark and seems to be getting fuel. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.

    Hard Starting A

Thanks i will try that. It has sat for about a year an a half. I rebiult fan shaft, put new radiator on it and tore the rear apart and put new seals and gaskets in it. I only worked on it every so often so it took awhile. Thanks again.

    Hard Starting A

I have a "49 A which has good spark, fuel, and air, and still starts really hard. When it does run it runs really well which makes me rule out carb issues. I am probably overlooking something small but I am stumped and would appreciate all and any advice. Thank You and God Bless.
