Backed the worm out of the steering box on my 75 cub, now of course it won't go back in.Any tricks i'm missing?- JSWANGER

ford sickle mower
Hooked the end of my mower on an old stump and spit off double knife section on the end of my mower.In the process it bent the section up at 45 degree angle .Should I use heat to bring it back or bend it cold? THANKS -

yea, had it torn down already thought now is the time to do it.Now where can I get a good quality gasket,New Holland better than others? anyway feel a little better now, thanks for all the input -

ford 800 head gasket replacement
I noticed when I start my 800 I'm getting water droplets from the exhaust stack and putting black crud on the hood.It clears up in under a minute but I pulled the head anyway.I saw nothing obvious with the gasket, head or block and didn't have any rust streaking from water water jackets.Could... -

Majic Paint?
It will fade, used a rattle can of the other day just so I could get my gauges back in the dash. It took 24 hrs to cure. Not my kind of spray paint I guess I should have read the can first- JSWANGER

yellow paint under gray
Sanding hood on my 800 today and finding yellow under the gray.I don't think it's an industrial according to the serial# top #is 850 serial 115611 should be a 56 .I Believe that color scheme didn't come out until 1962 -

Anybody ever use traveler brand hyd. trans. fluid from TSC . I was reading the reviews on it and was kind of impressed.It's a 10w30 multi viscosity for 36.99 5 gal.think I might use it in my ford 800 that or walmart brand trans.hyd.Whats your thoughts? -

ford 800 starter wont go back in
thanks for easing my mind guys that's what i did. Now the bendix won't retract think it will go back once it fires -

ford 800 starter wont go back in
Had to split my 800 to replace starter ring gear.Now i can't get the starter to go back in.Replaced the dendix too and it looks like i may have to remove the oil filter to get clearance.Anyone ever have this problem after replacing ring gear?
