    I have a 41 jdg 2cylinder that is missing i put a lp distributer with electronic points blaster coil with 3ohm restore. i can pull the plug wire off just enough to make the fire arc and it will run fine. would a mag stop this .or is there know what wrong. help

    thanks fox-g for the info .iknow that the head had new oversize valves sprisgs guides thehead was mill twice .nothing was done to the chamber. the corb. was done . but i am starting to queston every thing. my last try is to build up this piston. thanks

    Josh thanks for the help i had a 1/2'inch cap welded on top of murphy pistons that goes into the chamber don't know if that will be enough.the intake manifoil.i removed the divider . so each cylinder would draw through both barrals. can i get enough from welding on the piston. or is the head...

    I am new at antique pulling and about as green also at building motors . I purhased a41g cut the crank case out stroked the crank to 9 3/4 and purchased a murphys 71/2 blocked pistons & rods. also runing 730 carb. I never could the compression up over 150 could not get it to hit on #2 properly...

    thanks unstyled gguy i ground off both gear and cam clearence no mark but that being said i am within one tooth i am not sure which way .does this sound like a valve problem or a electrical problem
