    I have to admit you all know a thing or two about these systems. When I got the loader I replaced all the lines and had to buy a valve it didnt have one on it. I put a joystick type valve on it, I did some research and thought I had the right one. bought it off amazon model P80-OT/2-1 ...

    The model is 444 .I got the loader on and the oil is real hot. It only has about a 3 1/2 gal tank. I have only run it for a few minutes when oil starts heating up. I don't want to damage the pump.

    I have a IH I want to add some equipment to but I think it will be to much for the existing hydraulic system to handle without overheating. Where is the best location to add a additional tank? Should it be put infront of the other tank where the oil is returning or on the suction side ?

    Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the input . Mystery solved can move ahead in the right direction. Should wrap it up next chance I have to work on it. Cylinder and orbital valve already bolted up ready for the last couple hoses.

    Wondering if anyone has delt with this ? I replaced a hydraulic pump some time back and it works great. It is supposed to be equipped for power steering .. I am going to add power steering. Tractor wasn"t originally setup for it but with a loader added finding it needed. The pump is 376993r94...

    Adding some electric power steering asist to Tractor

    Have considered adding electric power steering asist to a older tractor that didn't come factory equipped. I put a loader on it and it steers terribly. Has anyone done one of these conversions and how did it go? Don't see any hydraulic kits that fit my tractor IH 444 gas w/frontend.

    You are correct in what you said. The pump you are showing is the one I have been considering. Just trying to make sure all my info is right before I drop that much on a pump. Thank you for your input.

    Have a 444 gas no powersteering. Need new hydraulic pump. Has 4.5 gal factory pump 377033r94 it shows a pump 37699r94 fitting this tractor but has a ps port which I won't use at this time 9gpm 7 to hydraulic 2 gpm for ps port. Does anyone know the differences in these pumps gear size shaft...

    follow-up hydraulic pump rebuild 444

    I have a 444 british version couldn't find a rebuild kit for the cessna hydraulic pump. So tore it down and after looking around for a few weeks found some parts here and there and happy to say it works nicely. Thanks to Wore Out and Used Red Mn. They gave some advice and tips thanks guys.
