    drop pan sleds

    I generally keep my pan drop turned completely off for antique pulling. Sometimes pulling the heavy or faster ones, or if just on a bad track the front edge of the pan dragging isn't enough to stop them even with 10,000 lbs.+ in the box. If I have to drop the pan I usually slow the box way...

    Cockshutt 30-AC engine swap

    There's a guy here local to me in TN that put a 40 motor in a 30. He said it wasn't too bad but took some work. I haven't seen the tractor run in several years.

    410 MF Combine carb

    I have two carburetors off of a 410 MF combine that had the 292 gas engine. They are two barrel carbs. Anybody know if they're worth anything to anybody or where to try to sell them? Thanks.

    What size axles have you got under the sled? A lot of us use 2 speeds and machine one side off so you have neutral/low or high.

    410 MF hydrostat worth anything?

    I have a working hydrostat and motor off of a 410 MF Combine. It was remanned about 10 years ago. Is this worth anything, or does anyone buy these units? I hate to just go haul it off to scrap. Thanks, Justin

    410 Massey combine hydrostat temp

    I've wondered if the gauge was working right. It's an electronic one that takes its reading out of the motor. The cooler never gets all that hot, you can usually put your hand on it, but it's a good ways away from the motor. This hydrostat is around 10 years old and probably has maybe around...

    What should the temperatures of the hydrostat out of a 410 Massey combine run? We've got one that the gauge has never worked on until it was fixed this winter and it easily pegs a 250 degree gauge even when it's not working hard.
