    1256 brake problem

You are right I don't have to pump the brakes, but for what ever reason, that helps the left brake pick up pressure sooner. I have bled the brakes before. I suspected the adjusters and checked them, but I must have missed something something on the adjusters. I did have had the brake valve...

    1256 brake problem

Thanks for the information. I just went out and check the screw on the back of the brake booster rod and it was tight. The spring appears to be held down about the same as the other side and the upper part is tight. The oring on the piston also seems to be fine. Any other thoughts?

Farmall with 282d or ih 826

If the condition of the tractors is the same, the 826 is more valuable and a 15 to 20 hp bigger. I like the 26 shifter better than the 06. Engine rebuild for either can be tricky and expensive. D282 rebuilt if not done right will not hold up. D358 rebuild is expensive. I have 2 706's. Now...

    1256 brake problem

I have been chasing this problem for a while. If I push on both brake pedals at the same time they go all the way down with virtually no braking at all. If I pump the brakes once and hold them down the pedals will eventually push back at me and I will have brakes again. If I let off the...

1256 TA Dump Valve and Brakes

My 1256 loses the brakes each time I push in the clutch and the dump valve is pushed. Any idea what is going on? Any help would be appreciated.

    ot lever guns

If you want a pistol cartridge I would get a Marlin 1894 in 44 mag. Unless you reload, you don't want as 45 colt for hunting. It will work fine, but you can't get the same power of load due to 45 colts being loaded to lower pressures. If you reload, you can make the colt pretty hot. I would...

    Headlight Bulb for UK Ford

Thank you. I was hoping to find the original bulb. I would like to keep the old tractor as original as possible, but at least I know which light will fit it if I cannot find the right bulb.

    Headlight Bulb for UK Ford

I have a 6600 ford made in the UK. The front headlight bulbs are a different style (Stanley type I guess). It is a high low bean bulb. Do any of you guys know where I can get a bulb?

    IH 435 Knotter

I have a 435 with the all twine knotter. I bought this baler just to have this newer knotter. The right side would give me problems once in a while, but the left side never missed a knot. Once I got the right side working the left started missing. It misses all the time. The twine knife...

    Round Bailer

They are a good baler. We have had one since 94 and have had really zero issues with it.

Vermeer 605 Super G, starter flaps Springs

This baler should either have 2 sets of springs on each side or it should have 1 set of springs and a hydraulic cylinder in the top middle of the baler. On my 1560, it has the cylinder. The cylinder has a pressure adjustment. You can crank the pressure up and make bales way too hard.

    Rims for a D19

I might be able to. Seems like when they are rusted in one spot, the rest if sometimes not far behind. Won't know for sure until the tires are off.
