Electrical problem with my Cub 184 tractor

This may not be your problem, but maybe a low battery. I have experienced it multiple times. After sitting through the winter, the little C60 will spin right over with a low battery, but the battery is too low to fire the plugs. Put a charger on for 5 minutes and it's good to go. Experienced on...

    Any part gurus

Messicks list the 376636R11 as 2 halves of a 0.010 rod bearing for the C-123 Engine. The compatibility may refer to engine compatibility rather than part number. Other bearing sizes have similar part numbers depending on size. Your part number may apply to the full set of 8 rather than "2 halves".

    Any part gurus

When I GOOGLED 376635-R91, I found multiple sources stating interchangeable with 376636R11. GOOGLED 376636R11 and selected Worthington Ag. "Compatible Models" is from Worthington Ag.

    Farmall 504 PTO always on

The paragraph before the 504 adjustment says the lever is to be in the no-load position. To me, that means hanging by gravity. The brake is then engaged when the lever is pushed into the locked or latched position.

    Farmall 504 PTO always on

Perhaps you are correct. The engagement and disengagement is an over center latching. Perhaps it's too tight and may require internal adjustment. I don't know how familiar you are with the engagement, but it is a pretty stiff pull on the lever. On my International 504, I jacked up the rear end...

    Farmall 504 PTO always on

If the PTO engages and disengages properly, You don't need to adjust the PTO internally. When you disengage, push the lever further to lock it in "brake" or "stowed position. To re-engage, press the button on the end of the PTO lever to disengage the brake. The brake adjustment is the length of...

    Question for Cub guys

The 154 has a different crankshaft and rods than the original Cub. I assume it has to do with the higher RPM.

    american motors corp.

Had two. 1957 Nash Ambassador and 1971 Gremlin X. The 1957 was ahead of it's time. Had dual headlights, dual brake system and unibody construction. By the way if anyone would need an AMC 232 Engine, I have one with complete rebuild.

    Troubleshooting an Electronic ignition

Possible cause of failure. The electronic ignitions I have seem can overheat and burn out if the ignition is left ON and the engine stops with the magnet aligned with the sensor. If needed I have a PDF for the Hot Spark toubleshooting. Pertronix Troubleshooting
