    I'm doing some minor restore work and need to know if anyone has the original flexible drive cable for the tacho,I need to have it made up .The length of the outer cable not including the end nuts end to end , also the inner cable end to end overall length , this is to eliminate any sharp bends...

    Congratulations ,How in the heck did you find replacement parts for that thing a 1949 model,I've got a 1957 Moline and parts are very hard to find some of the bone yards think their parts are made of gold.,not just the color. Mine is a working tractor but I would love to give it some refresher TLC.

    Would someone like to post a photo of the catch that holds the hood closed ,also how it attaches to the grille frame , mine is completely nonexistent theres's nothing there , might help if anyonr knows where I might find a replacement hood. Thanks Ken.

    I don't have a Farmall , but had a similar experience , No 1, points ,plugs clopgged carb , and retune carb , adjust idle mixture and fuel inlet valve/screw.
