    Rear tractor tire size

When I had asked about tire prices I was given the idea to find a non-running N with good tires. Swap the good tires over to your N, and put the questionable tires onto the non-running tractor and either keep it for parts or sell. This could be an option for you as well.

    Bent Lower lift arm

I'll take a picture when I get home tonight. I know it is bent from where it was the last time that I had the back blade on because my left hand stabilizer bar would not line up with the link pin. I put the draw bar on and used my 2 gang pull disc. I'm guessing that was when it got tweaked.

    Bent Lower lift arm

Yeah I currently do not have a heat wrench. I have a propane torch but I don't think that would get it hot enough, quick enough to do much help. I was going to try to remove the lift arm and take it to the neighbor for his torch. Suppose I could just drive the tractor over there but I try to...

    Bent Lower lift arm

Thanks for the reply Tall T. I guess that would be a lot cheaper than buying a new one wouldn't it!

    Bent Lower lift arm

So I am not quite sure when I did it but when I switched from the draw bar to my back blade, I noticed that my left hand lower lift arm is bent. First off, I see that there are "weld on" replacement ends. I'm not quite sure if they are long enough to get rid of the bend or if I should just get...

OT Coyote Warning Signs In My Area

We got chickens last fall. Over the weekend we just lost our first one to some kind of predator and I'm guessing it was a yote.

    No start after EI conversion

Don't forget that if you've been cranking for a while without firing, you should change the spark plugs. If you've fouled out the plugs, you'll be chasing your tail to get it to run.

    42" brush hog too small?

Hi all. Happy Easter. I've been looking for a brush hog and one locally popped up. Its a one owner woods rcc42. Pretty sure it's too small for an N but I thought I'd ask.

OT - Theft and surveillance cameras

I had bought a system off of Ebay for 200 something that had a central box with up to 8 channels (camera) capacity but came with 4 cameras with 100' of cabling each. I bought it after some of our Halloween decorations were stolen. The cameras gave really good quality daytime and had infrared...

Plan on opening up an area for food plot

So how long after the roundup is applied is it ok to seed without fear of the roundup killing that too?

Plan on opening up an area for food plot

Hi all. I have about a 3/4 acre area of my property that I wan to work up for a food plot this year. The area is currently scrub land with waist to chest high weeds and small saplings. I currently do not have a rotary mower but hope to change that here shortly. My question is about...

    Starter goes on its own.

So if happened with the old solenoid and is doing it with the new solenoid, I'm leaning towards a wiring issue. Unless both solenoids are incorrect or both have the same failure.

    Starter goes on its own.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you say that this was happening with the old solenoid as well?

    Starter goes on its own.

Sounds like the solenoid is somehow getting 12V without the button being pushed. When it was arcing, you may have melted some insulation on wires and it is touching another 12V wire.
