    1100 Massy

Looked at a 1100 today, could someone give me the good and bad on this tractor? I know about the other red tractors, but a massy is something I know little about. Thank you.

    pumpkin patch cover crop

Ok,I think I'm starting to get it. so my oats will only help by putting a little cover on the soil for winter, and give the deer something to chew. Rye will start regrowing in the spring and choke out the weeds before they get a chance. I'm new to grains, and oats is what I started out with...

    pumpkin patch cover crop

Had lots of weeds in the pumpkin patches, would planting oats, after the pumpkins are picked help out much? I only have a month or so left to get it to grow, or would I just be waisting my time? I'm in northern NY.

    IH 656 fuel problem help

When mine stops, it is a chunk of rust between the tank and bowl. It might look like its flowing good, but it's not good enough. Get a piece of hose, just big enough to fit over the stem, then blow back into the tank. I also put a small magnet into the bowl, to catch any rust that goes threw so...

    McCormick 80 combine ?'s

The head had to come off mine so it was not over width on the flat bed. In NY, anything over 8'6" is over width. Had it trucked from western Pa, to northern NY. Ive got a lot of grease fittings on this 80 McCormick, they do look factory, but some are sealed. Maybe the original owner put them in?

    McCormick 80 combine ?'s

Outside to outside it is 8" 6". The head will have to come off, but that is easy. I found one last spring, that was well cared for. I spent more on trucking than the machine. Dont know if I"ll ever get my money back, but I wanted one. Now its mine. The 80 is basicly the same as an 82, without...

    Any harley guys on here?

Rob, my beef was with GMC calling it a girls bike. Remember the post was about Harleys? so lets not compare apples and oranges. I'll beat more fat guys on a big Harley as I'll lose to with the little sportster. Would I run it against a V-65, no. I had a V-30 in high school. Our club is a Harley...

    Any harley guys on here?

Running your mouth about it being a girls bike might leave you with less teeth, in some circles. Maybe you are not as cool as you think gmc? I might take a little razzing in the club, but they can't leave me in the dust. Oh and no one showes up on a honda.

Pumpkin crop did poorly this year... Advice?

We have two fields, one with saved seeds and the other one with harris seeds. Both produced very well, even with all the rain we got. Powdery mildew is killing the vines now but that happens this time of year. The field with our saved seeds have bigger pumpkins. Put manure on your patch and...

    OT-Pumkins

Cut them now while the stem is still green. If the vine dries down to the pumpkin, it will not last as long.
