McCormick Deering JD 6 Soil Pulverizer

I have an old McCormick Deering cultipacker. Two of the larger cast wheels have broken. One is so busted up I don't think it could be brazed and fixed. Anyone know where I could get some of these? They are the smooth type roller wheels. I measured them to be around 14 inches. Thanks, Chris

    Oil Cup

Is there a trick to get the oil filter cup to fit snugly to the breather? It's a 1955 Farmall 100 with a Donaldson type breather unit. It didn't have a cup when I bought it, and I was able to obtain a salvage replacement. It's loose when I tighten the clamp all the way down. I do get a...

    4200 tire settings

I bought a pair or used but decent 13.6x38s for my tractor this winter and will get them put on soon. I'm kind of in a quandry over what tire setting to use. I need to trailer the tractor on occasion but my trailer is only 81" between the fenders/tires. So the widest I can go is the 64" setting...

Noticed last hay season the inner and outer ledger plates on my mower were in pretty bad condition. I have replaced the guards and therefore have new ledger plates there, but I have never worked on the other ledger plates. How do I remove them and how are the new ones attached? Bolts or rivets...

    More 460 hydraulic confusion

Hello all. I ordered a new filter for my 460 LP's hydraulic system from my CaseIH dealer, pretty expensive, but getting it right where it counts seems like the way to go, right? I'm not so sure. I pulled the cover off the filter housing, and it turns out there were no "filters" in it at all, at...

Oliver Plow, What Is It Worth?

Hi all! After I totaled my JD plow the other day (really sad story there....) I have been kind of looking around for another plow. Found this one on CL, she was asking $350, we kind of talked a little, and I think I can get it for $200. I am REALLY hard up for cash now, so I would have to be...
