4200 tire settings

I bought a pair or used but decent 13.6x38s for my tractor this winter and will get them put on soon.
I'm kind of in a quandry over what tire setting to use.
I need to trailer the tractor on occasion but my trailer is only 81" between the fenders/tires.
So the widest I can go is the 64" setting on the chart.
(64"+13.6" = 77.6")
I'm a little skeert waaay up there on a NF tractor.
What would you guys do - run it at the 64" setting or go wider and accept that I'd need to move at least one rim in to transport the tractor? THAT would be a pain!
Also, those of you with 4000/4600/4610s running 38s what width setting do you run yours at?
I suppose that "depends"?
I've thought about building a "squeeze chute" to squeeze the tires in a bit as they go between the fenders. That might let me go to the 68" setting. Don't know how involved I'd want to get with that tho.
I've never liked the looks of the power adjust wheels but now am realizing how handy they would be.
Just thinking out loud here. Wondering what your thoughts on the matter might be.
Thanks

Set it at 64" and forget it, especially if you load the tires.
It can go narrower... might be a problem on hillsides, but not where you are.
I ran my 7600 at 60" with no problem. No, it's not a rowcrop, but with the cab, it has a similar height. Lots of tractors run 60" for 30" rows... even with 42" or 46" tires.

Hey Jerry,
Set em at your 64 with no worries.
Looking at the chart, most of my NF's are set at 60...no issues.
Even one that wears a one arm loader (that one has a set of the heavy pie weights however.)
....even at extremes, NF's are more stable than they look. Had a Farmall C with set fairly narrow 44's....sat waaay up there, and once had a Farmall H set up to clear sidewalks.....tires would rub your elbows....no issues.

ps If you run across any more of those rear wheel adapters, keep me in mind. Found another use for em. 860...put International big bolt pattern wheel centers in the 6-loop 28's. Centers have holes set up for International? weights I have. Your adapters let the International centers bolt up to the Ford....nice

Thanks.
There is an ad in the photo ads here.
A guy is parting out a 3000 that has a
set of those adapters on it.
I emailed him about them most of a week
ago but he didn't reply.
I wasn't real interested but figured if
I could get them cheap...
He lists his phone # too. Maybe if you
called him. I don't need them.
