    oil pressure gauge on IH 1500 truck

    1976 Ih 1600 loadstar truck. Electric oil pressure gauge quit working. I checked with a mechanical gauge and has 60 pounds of pressure. I replaced the sender unit and still shows 0 on electric gauge. I have grounded the wire on the sender with no change to the gauge. Gauge has only two wires...

    9-N loose steering

    any 2n or 9n I have been around had too much play for washers to shim up. They almost alwise need all three gears replaced. used ones are impossible to find. You have to spend the $$$ for new ones. I replaced mine in 1999. back then a set of three gears was $475.00.

    Wico XH, farmall H4 magnetos is what I was wanting to recharge. it takes more power to charge a Wico type mag than the old horse shoe magnetos? I see a lot of really old chargers on ebay for horse shoe type magnets. They wouldn't work then on 1940's magnetos?

    I have been thinking about building a magnet charger to charge magnetos. I have found some instructions online and was wondering if anyone here has tried it? I was wondering what gauge copper wire and how much is needed. Do I need insulated wire or bare copper wire?

    I only use carquest batteries. They are a little more money but last longer and seldom leak. A group 26 battery will fit in a 6v box.
