Where to sell a 430?
Not a collector, so I don't know details as in eactly what options it has. I have been told it was well equipped but again, not a tractor guy. Got to get some updated photos of it. I know it has the spin out rear wheels. Wide (I think that is the right term) front axle. Past that I don't know...- Kudzu

Where to sell a 430?
I need to sell our 430 and not sure where is the best place. I see the auctions sites, but the tractor is Alabama and most seem to be in the Midwest. I know and use Marketplace. Just thinking it might bring more at a proper tractor auction but not sure if location is an issue? It is located in...- Kudzu

JD 420 tie rods
The ends of mine are totally worn out. Won't take much for the ball to fall out. I still use mine and not worried about being original but just safe.Bush hog a few times a year and will be doing some landscaping with it next summer. I could modify the existing or replacements and looks like...- Kudzu

JD 420 tie rods
That is what I a expected and mine has a pin that drops in from the top. Darn. Thanks for confirming my fears. :-)- Kudzu

JD 420 tie rods
I am confused. Looking at replacement tie rod ends for the 420. Photos of replacements appear to just have dimples in the shaft and mine has a hole all the way through. So I am not sure if mine has been swapped, the replacements are wrong or ???? Any help would be appreciated.- Kudzu

430 drag link??
Yes. From what I am gathering the Swept Back Axle is different than the rest. As far as I can tell no one makes a replacement. I am guessing I am going to have to modify something, maybe take my old one and have someone weld an end on the existing shaft maybe.- Kudzu

Need some info. I have a 430 with a swep back axle and a worn out drag link or tie rod. Of course it is the outside one and I am getting the impression that there isn't a replacement available?- Kudzu
