yes still still same color smoke, as far as straightend up and chattering again means that it has full power and it chatters like a typical 2 cylinder does, haven't run it long enough to check oil/water transfer yet Ron -

installed HG, water pump gaskets, valve cover gasket, new oil filter, new oil ect, wound up tighter than a kid at Christmas ready to start it up and it still doing the same thing, the top end had signs of water in it, greyish gobs of junk everywhere in it, I used a screwdriver and putty knife... -

I ran my yanmar 2210d this eve using a pto log splitter, ran fine while splitting wood, let is set for approx. 45 minutes. started it back up and it throwing out a greyish/white smoke and its underpowered. It ran for about 20 minutes that way and then it started running right with the 2 cyl... -

thanks for the help, i tried all the easy stuff that i could think of, so far no coolant in the oil that i can see, the oil level isnt changing at all, im not getting bubbles in the radiator, the air filter looks fine, i run it without for a few seconds to make sure, i guess i will be making a... -

my 2210 started smoking worse than normal while running, used to be it would smoke upon startup then clear up, now when it starts up it acts like it wont build rpms and its loading upwith fuel and smoking like a chimney, it will do that for about 30 seconds then to the normal rattling like a 2... -

How to know T-Start is working.
I removed the air intake hose from the motor today and cycled my t start, it first started smoking then after about 8 seconds i had fire is this normal Ron -

fuel filter 226D
John i just had the same exact thing with my 2210, had problems with it running removed old filter and it was in upside down as well seems to run alittle better now , i guess people dont look in the filter housing and see the nipple sticking down from the top just see the nipple in the fuel... -

I bought a new fuel filter today from napa couldnt wait until my hoyle order gets here, while i was installing the new filter it dawned on me that when i removed the old filter i didnt see the inlet hole in the filter housing, the old filter was in upside down restricting flow, dont know why it... -

I messed with it a few minutes this eve, i can keep it running if i stay on it, i dont think it is the linkages i have to basiclly feather the foot trottle back and forth to keep it running, dont seem like it has the response it did have with the foot throttle, i pulled the fuel filter this eve... -

Hello all, i just purchased a 2210d with fel and Bh on it, 1st of my many questions will be how do I use the thermostart if my tractor even has one. I tried turning the key backwards but it is very hard to do so i didnt force it and break the key off in the switch. I will be ordering the service...
