    ser no is 14756, that's must be the problem, they gave me the 3/32 rings , i need the i/8. My fault i stopped in a told them 52 r and he got the 2 wrong ones, never asked about ser no, i should have looked it up first myself. Rings did look a little thin width wise.

    nope, already made sure there was no old gasket up in the grove, just the new one. Only thing i can think of is the new jd correct rings are not made made the same as the old style ones.

    question for those who know

    you have a jib key, there is a puller that hooks over the head of the key to pull the key out. Most of the old flywheel motors flywheel are held on the same way, look up jib key (spelling) puller. good luck kurt

    buy the service book and learn how to adj the gov, i have two 154s and had to that to both.

    720 clutch problem

    Have you sat down with the book and made sure you did everything correct, if so did you pull the shaft out of the housing that throws the the fork into the clutch, you may be a spline off kurt.

    My deck is the one with the two belts, international deck, want to find out who made it for them. there was a talk about grandpa loves 154 cub and someone stated what company made the deck, that's what i'm trying to find out who made the deck for IH.
