    If it is that pigtail wire coming into the top of the 12 volt coil I did that trick and that spark will not jump more than a millimeter or two. Battery spins it up just fine.

    Spark plug wires are fairly new, within 18 months. By secondary coil wire do you mean the line coming into the top of the can? This is a 2N front mount distributor.

    Looks like a spark issue. Took the carb about one minute to fill a pint jar. With the spark gap tester the spark was strong and blue but only about every second or third revolution- wasn't consistent.

    Thanks, will check those. I know almost certainly that fuel from the bottom of the carb would take longer than 2 min to fill that jar. More like me as a 50 year old trying to pee than me at 20;) carb is about a year old.

    E - Z out broke off, now what

    Thanks, bolt is old and I got a bit heavy handed with the torque wrench- snapped before max torque range. This was on the way back together so top cover is on. I'm not sure this area is as critical as it would be on the other side where the pressure is.
