    Case 1537 clutch rebuild

    So how would I know which of the two issues it was? Is there a way to diagnose the problem by the behaviour of the machine? I don't know a lot about these things but if it is the clutch or the variable drive, are there characteristics that would set the two problems apart?

    Aha! That sounds better (possibly simpler and less expensive, not sure). I guess I'll dig through the manual and see what that entails.

    Case 970 guages

    I recently purchased a 970. All the gauges work with the exception of the transmission pressure gauge. Is this important to have working or not? The tractor will be used as a loader tractor with low hours per year. Thanks.

    2294 torque limiter Belleville spring

    Part # a64370 called Case Ih they wanted over 500$ for it! Key spring in Pa. Can cross ref the case part # and had seven on the shelf for 160$ a piece if anyone out there needs one. 1 800 245 3600 They can also cross ref the Belleville springs in c2and c3 78$ at case 14$ there!
