Ford 1920 4x4 backhoe mounting brackets

I feel that way about three point hook up. I can see from the drawings that nothing really made it strong as it should be. Thank you for the drawings, I was in Messicks and found the hoe parts but not that drawing, going to do some welding and such before it goes on the tractor. Once again...

Ford 1920 4x4 backhoe mounting brackets

Hi all, I have a 1920 that I picked up an old Brantly backhoe for. I know that the 1920 used the 758 hoe but can't find anything that shows the mounting bracket set up for mounting it to the tractor. This hoe looks to have mounted to the three-point pins on the rearend and has two standup...

    640 hydraulic loses hydraulic prime

Just wondering if you watched the video? I have had two different 640's that had a bad o-ring in the three point housing mount, the one that covers the inlet to the cover usually.

Ford 1920 with bush hog loader 2400qt major fluid restriction?

I don't know how to thank you enough. I went out this morning and took the quick coupler completely out and the system works flawlessly. I'm 70 and farm raised but sometimes your mind gets set in one direction and gets welded there. I might go ahead and put new fluid in just to be safe, I think...

Sorry, I read it again and it makes sense, think I'm tired.

Ford 1920 with bush hog loader 2400qt major fluid restriction?

I must be looking at something backward. I thought that fluid left the diverter thru the outlet port and went to the loader handles, then returned to the diverter inlet port. Then the power beyond port of the loader block supplied fluid back to the third port return.

Ford 1920 with bush hog loader 2400qt major fluid restriction?

What doesn't make sense is that the power beyond line supplies fluid to that side of the block right? If so why is the bogging only when the block is turned?

Ford 1920 with bush hog loader 2400qt major fluid restriction?

I'll pull it from the diverter tomorrow and fire the tractor to see what I get. I really can't believe how small the opening in that line is, like 3/16".

Ford 1920 with bush hog loader 2400qt major fluid restriction?

In the clockwise position the three point works fine, as I rotate ccw the engine slows and the power beyond hose tenses. I just unhooked the coupler and pushed in each of the center pins, fluid shot out of the block side and I pushed in the valve spool side hit the key and fluid came out.

Ford 1920 with bush hog loader 2400qt major fluid restriction?

I'm back! I can see the power beyond hose get rigid when I try to turn the screw/valve but seem to have flow through both parts of the quick connect. I pulled the pressure relief out of the bottom and it is free and clear.

I really appreciate your time, I've always messed with the old ford n's and such so things are different on these. I'll let you know how I make out.

Ford 1920 with bush hog loader 2400qt major fluid restriction?

Thanks! Yes there are quick connects on the hoses, never thought of one going bad! I will pull the quick connects and check them first.

Ford 1920 with bush hog loader 2400qt major fluid restriction?

Hi Folks, I just picked up a Ford 1920 with loader and trying to figure out the loader problem. The 1920 has a strange set up with a diverter valve under the tractor that sends fluid to a loader or what ever and turned the other way it supplies the three point hitch. When I turn the valve...
